On this page we will show the tools we use for this motorhome project.
This page is years out-of-date. All of the tools moved to Custom Motorhomes.
20 Ton floor press.
UNImig welder (here used gasless)
And now using gas
Not exactly tools, but these are for our angle grinders.
Our special frame cutter for raising the roof.
It was an ordinary drop saw that we removed from the base and welded to a pipe. This pipe also has two nuts to lock it into place when it is slipped over the floor pole. The base is a wheel rim.
This jig made cutting the roof so much easier. All of the cuts were at the same height and were quite level. Much more level than if we had cut freehand with a 9 inch.
The work bench we made.
The new drop saw
The sheet bender
Our second welder
This is a plasma cutter, it uses compressed air and electricity to cut up to 12mm thick metal.
Look at the cuts it has made. That curved bar is about 10mm thick.
